Formulation

integrated
waste
management
strategy and
investment
program,

development
of waste
disposal
facilities.
Intensive
environmental
and social
safeguard
analysis was
completed in
order to
protect the
fragile
island
environment.
Impacts
The two
islands of
Rarotonga
and Aitutaki
now benefit
from
enhanced
solid waste
management
systems,
resulting in
improved
environmental
and social
protection.
